Mohini is a climate resilience expert, urban infrastructure consultant, policy advisor, research enthusiast, and project management professional. Currently, she provides solution-based support to the Aga Khan Agency of Habitat (AKAH, India) on climate resilience projects, towards combating climate change and building the net-zero emissions agenda through the process of adaptation and mitigation.

She previously worked for NIUA (India), KPMG (India), Meghraj Capital Advisors Private Limited (India), Utopians Chartered Accountants (London, UK), and Brunel University London (London, UK) before joining NIUA. In India and the UK, she has advised government and private clients on climate resilience, urban infrastructure, smart cities development, the environment, transportation, solid waste management, and financial accounting.

She has obtained a Master's degree in Business Management from Brunel University London (London, UK) to enhance her business and project management skills. Her additional academic qualifications include a master's degree in 'Urban Policy and Governance' from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS, Mumbai, MH) as well as a bachelor's degree in 'Urban Planning' from the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPAV, AP).
